Chowder Chowder at Pier 12
From the1st until the 14th of October, 'Pier 12' trys out a new taste.
Chowder is any one of a variety of soups based around seafood. Many nations have their claim to its origins - the French, the Brits and the Americans. New England's claim is strong with the Breton Fishermen, who would throw portions of the days catch and other available foods into a large pot thus forming a fresh soup and introducing us to the word 'Chowder'. |

'Picasso's', Doha's first Mediterranean Tapas Bar, opened its doors on Saturday 7th February. Located on the first floor of the East Wing, 'Picasso's' is open from 6pm daily.
Tapas is the name given to a range of appetizers in Spanish. These are served both hot and cold and should be enjoyed in a group of friends, family or colleagues along with drinks. |
